Are you a talented Ruby or Freeswitch developer?
Although we are not currently hiring, we are always looking to get in touch with talented and motivated developers. If you're experienced in Ruby or Freeswitch and are interested in developing revolutionary telephony applications in a fast-paced startup, we'd love to hear from you.
Skills and Requirements
• Minimum 1 year Ruby experience – 2 years preferred• Experience working on a small, Agile team with short development cycles
• Knowledge and experience of behavior-driven development, RSpec preferred
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix and familiar with open source software development
• Ability to work under pressure to fulfill urgent deadlines when needed
• Passionate about technology systems with strong desire to learn about our industry
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Bonus Points
• Well-rounded personality and sense of humor• Contributions to open source projects
• Active blog
• An eye for design
• Web design experience including CSS, AJAX
• Online portfolio demonstrating previous work
• Familiar with open source VoIP telephony systems (FreeSWITCH and/or Asterisk)
Location
Applicant must live in the Los Angeles area or be willing to relocate.
